The Lake Placid Summit Lacrosse Classic occurs annually the first week of August. This event is not to be missed by players or spectators. With the Adirondack High Peaks and Olympic attractions as the backdrop, there’s no better setting to enjoy Lax.
Bringing in Scholastic as well as Adult divisions, the action of this popular Lacrosse tournament is framed perfectly by the Olympic Ski Jumps. The setting, game play and mixed age divisions makes this a perfect family event. Scholastic aged kids, parents and grandparents can all enjoy playing and cheering each other on.

Lake Placid Summit Lacrosse Classic – Plan Your Week
Scholastic division Lake Placid Summit Lacrosse play begins on Monday featuring both Boys’ and Girls’ divisions from 14U to soon to be high school graduates. These games run almost every weekday with the championship played Sunday. In the Girls’ division, there is a “Nike Northstars” group. All players in this grouping are star athletes who have committed to playing at large college programs.
The Adults begin their tournament on Wednesday and finish up on Sunday. The Adult division includes both Men’s and Women’s lacrosse. The Men’s side has 12 different divisions – Open Gold, Open Silver, 25+, 30+, 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+ and 65+. The Women’s side features 4 divisions – Open Gold, Open Silver, 25+ and 35+.
The schedule for the Adult tournament weekend is:
Wednesday – Mens 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+
Thursday – Mens 30+, 35+, 40+, 45+
Friday – Men’s Open Gold, Women’s Open Gold, Women’s 35+, Championships for Wednesday’s Divisions
Saturday – Men’s Open Silver, Men’s 25+, Women’s Open Silver, Women’s 25+, Championships For Thursday’s Divisions
Sunday – Championship games for Friday and Saturday Divisions
